About this Event
Participants will increase their understanding of Important Aspects of Exceptional Student Education – including ESE, IDEA, IEP, Least Restrictive Environment, and Rights. Facilitate the development of literacy and language arts skills through activities about disabilities awareness. Define and identify accommodations and modifications, as well as, select, use, evaluate student accommodations. Describe strategies to encourage students to demonstrate necessary self-determination skills and participate in their IEP meetings.
