This free event will help you become a better advocate for a child with an intellectual and/or developmental disability (IDD). Experts in the field of IDD will speak about a variety of topics, including autism, intellectual disability, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, and learning disabilities. Each topic will be followed by a question-and-answer session. You will also learn about local resources and organizations dedicated to helping those with IDD.
Childcare will not be provided, but every family will receive a $20 gift certificate to Target. Lunch will be served.

The event will be held on the second floor of Children's Hospital in the Theater. Free parking is available in the South Parking Garage at the corner of Children's Way and 24th Ave. South.
