Professor Arie Rimmerman is a Richard Crossman Professor of Social Welfare and Social Planning and the founding Dean of Social Welfare and Health Sciences at the University of Haifa, Israel.
His most recent book, Disability and Community Living Policies,provides an analysis of the roots of institutionalization and deinstitutionalization legislation along with efforts to promote community living policies in Israel and the United States.
Professor Rimmerman will speak and answer questions about his new book, with remarks from Professor Paul Shattuck from Drexel University.
