This one-hour session is a session led by Dementia Friends Champion, Nora Klemesrud. You’ll learn some basics of dementia such as what dementia is, how it can affect a person, some tips for communicating with people who have dementia, and other ways to support people with dementia.
The Champion training will be offered via Zoom on March 20 (11a-1p). The first hour of the training is a normal Dementia Friends session, and the second hour is training on how to be successful as a Champion presenter.
