Clew is an indoor, path retracing navigation app for blind and low vision users. It remembers a location and assist you with returning to that destination – either after exploring your surrounding environment or on a subsequent visit. Using the free Clew app for iOS, you’ll receive turn-by-turn guidance along indoor routes you record with a choice of voice directions, sound effects or haptic feedback. Join Paul Ruvolo, the app’s developer and an associate professor of computer science at the Olin College of Engineering, as he shares how Clew can help you navigate hotels, offices and other spaces.
