CE Live Webinar: Personality Disorders: What Am I Supposed to Do Now?

Personality Disorders have long been an enigma for therapists. What do you do? How do you identify them with any clarity? Is there any treatment for clients living with them? This training will give an overview of current thought on Personality Disorders and their diagnosis. It will look at diagnosis based upon the DSM 5, and will review current research on viable treatments currently available. Time will be spent on looking at Borderline Personality Disorder, what is known about its origins, impairments, biology, and treatment, and how to remove the stigma associated with the diagnosis.

  • Ways to engage BPD clients in therapy
  • Examine what is best practice/evidence based practice for personality disorders
  • Learn how to take care of yourself when treating personality disorder
