Wallsend Kinship Carers was initially set up in 2015. The main aim was to provide 1-2-1 support by fortnightly meetings for those caring for their grandchildren/other relative's children. Many of these kinship children had been traumatised in early life. Registered charity number 1190153 (England and Wales).
