The League of Friends role is to relieve patients and invalids of the Halstead Hospital andCommunity & Rural Areas who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm and togenerally support charitable work of the hospital. It is run by a Board of Trustees which isdependent on the services of unpaid volunteers. Registered charity number 1121313 (England and Wales).
