May 28, 2016 — May 30, 2016
May 28, 2016 at 9 AM to May 30, 2016 at 12 AM EDT
This year’s theme is one that can be taken up by and challenged through disability studies, Deaf studies, and mad studies. The Canadian Disability Studies Association-Association invites abstracts for panels, papers, workshops, and artistic contributions that reflect on the meaning of community and interrogate the many ways we energize, contribute to, build, and live within our disability,
Deaf, mad communities, and the other communities of which we are a part. We also invite submissions that trouble the normative terms through which the act of energizing is often defined.
Only those people who are registered for Congress 2016 and have added the Canadian Disability Studies Association (CDSA, #293) to their Congress registration may attend this conference. Please note that conference registration fees are separate from the association's membership fees.
