The Calgary Ability Network is excited to be partnering with Steven Williams to offer Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSPs) 101. This learning opportunity is for front-line service providers who would like to improve their baseline knowledge of RDSPs and feel better equipped to refer clients to the appropriate resources.

About the Facilitator:

Steven Williams runs his own company, The Small Business Accountants, helping people with getting the most out of their hard-earned income. About 7 years ago, good friends of his, who have a son with Autism, asked him to look into the RDSP (Registered Disability Savings Plan). Over the next 3 months, Steven researched the RDSP so that he could provide his friends with the information that they were looking for. While doing his research he found that there were very few people in the country, let alone the city, that even knew what the RDSP was, so it became his personal mission to ensure that everyone that qualified for it, was aware of it and had someplace to go to get it opened.
