The Arc Arapahoe & Douglas Counties, in partnership with PEAK Parent Center, invites parents of school-aged children (5 years +) with I/DD.
About this Event
This education series addresses services and supports for children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). It tutors parents on some of the mysteries of the resources that are available to them, accessing those resources, addressing 504 or IEP concerns, and provides a basic overview of the Wrights Law website. At the conclusion of the series, parents will have an understanding of the child system, from single entry points to waivers healthcare, private insurance and Medicaid.
If you register for the 1st night, you are registered for all sessions. If you would like to only attend certain sessions, please sign-up for the ones you wish to attend.
