The Bruyère Research Institute (BRI) is a hospital-based research institute affiliated to Bruyère Continuing Care (Bruyère) and the University of Ottawa. BRI supports researchers and students who contribute to relevant and practical knowledge to improve the health and care of aging people. The focus is on person- and patient-oriented and health services research. BRI uses a policy to action framework that promotes collaboration across its five research themes and methods centre. These themes are aligned with the clinical priorities of Bruyère and the patient populations and healthcare needs it serves.
