Once again the Australian Paediatric Society (APS) will be sanctioned by the International Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) to a joint meeting of clinical significance.
We are excited to have the very best in Australasian and international presenters who will lead the discussion with brief, sharp presentations and questions via live streaming. Many are “old friends” of APS who have previously contributed and therefore understand the level at which to pitch presentations and discussions.
The aim of the workshop is to empower and inspire diabetes teams with current evidence-based best practice along ISPAD principles of promoting education, advocacy and science. We welcome all members of diabetes teams from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand and junior staff with an interest in diabetes.
This workshop aims to highlight cutting edge strategies in management of diabetes in children and adolescents including modern equipment, team based models of care, and family based interventions. This interactive collegiate meeting has always been conducted in good spirit with lively discussion.
