In response to advocacy from employees with disabilities, and in efforts to fulfill McMaster’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusivity, Human Resources and the Equity and Inclusion Office have partnered to develop training on Equitable and Accessible Workplace Accommodations.
Who Should Attend?: This training is aimed primarily at Chairs, Directors, Hiring Managers and Supervisors to facilitate greater understanding of McMaster's workplace accommodation processes.
Please join the EIO and HR on July 24th, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm at McMaster's Centre for Continuing Education (1 James North), Room 206, to learn more about McMaster's Workplace Accommodation process, as well as potential barriers employees with disabilities might experience in accessing accommodations at the University.
We look forward to a morning of great discussion, skill sharing and problem-solving!
Please note that at this session there will be:
-Accessible entrances into the building from the parking lot and into the room
-Two microphones for speakers and / or audience members
