We will be running a week of different events during National AccessAbility Awareness Week (NAAW), which aims to act as a tool for social change by creating conversation around the issues of education, transportation, housing, employment and recreation across the Country. The AAC has decided to focus on accessible housing as a theme for our event this year.
To cap off the week we will be running an Accessible Home Tour the morning of Saturday June 2, 2018. Our aim is to bring together city officials, builders, and citizens to explore what currently exists in accessible housing and to imagine how some of these features could be incorporated into standard building practice.
