The ILRC is pleased to offer a free disability sensitivity training and volunteer orientation to the Northeast Florida Community. At this training, you will learn about:

  • People First Language
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Disability Etiquette
  • Strategies for Inclusion
  • Overcoming Stigmas: Facts and Fiction 
  • Resources Available through Local Agencies
  • & Other Best Practices

This volunteer orientation is one hour in length and each participant will receive with a certificate of completion. 

Join The ILRC team and become a Disability Ambassador. Register today. Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request.
