AccessChicago is the City’s signature event for the disability community and the Midwest’s premier exhibition of services and products for people with disabilities and is FREE and open to the public.

Hosted by MOPD the Expo promotes the independence and inclusion of people with all types of disabilities by showcasing Chicago’s wide range of accessible products and services.

 FAQs

 Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There are no age requirements. However, please be aware that some of the recreational activities may require a guardian to sign a waiver prior to the child's participation.  Therefore minors must be accompanied by an adult. 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

More detailed transportation information will be forthcoming, as we continue to build our event.  Please note these few important points: 

• Navy Pier will be under construction at the time of our event.   There will be directional signs posted throughout the pier, so please be mindful and look for signage to direct you better. 

• If you can, we strongly recommend being dropped off at Navy Pier.  Since our location within the pier will be held in Festival Hall B this year, (and NOT Festival Hall A),  there is a different drop-off point.  Please follow the north side of the pier straight down to Entrance 2, which is the last entry point of the pier. This will be the last entrance you can turnaround in that will give you access to the lobby, called Lobby 3.  From there you will have 3 different elevators that will take you to Festival Hall B.  Again, signage will be present.

• If you choose to drive, parking is available in the East garage, which is the garage closest to our event. You would follow the street on the North Side of the pier (this is the street that stations the CTA bus stop and shuttle service) until you see the signage for the East garage.
