Columbia Synapse, a chapter of Synapse National, is a New York City-based service organization guided by principles of neuroscience, community, and advocacy for the community of individuals with brain injury. The group draws from a wide network of resources to organize a diverse cohort of programs that cultivate community for individuals with brain injury and a greater understanding of brain injury for Columbia University and New York. As Columbia Synapse leaders, we have closely engaged a range of healthcare professionals and social workers in the City to curate a conference program for Brain Injury Awareness Month in March. The 2021 Conference: The Social Brain, will be held virtually on March 13th through March 14th, 2021 and consist of a gamut of virtual lectures and workshops.
