Each year three remarkable Missourians, who have overcome their challenges to make life better for themselves, others and their communities, are selected to receive the Mental Health Champions’ award. These individuals have a meaningful role in their communities and promote the importance of self-determination, recovery and education about mental health disorders, including mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance use disorders.
Sponsoring the 2018 Mental Health Champions’ Banquet provides you the opportunity to connect with the mental health provider community, business community, community resource organizations, and the general public representing communities from across the State of Missouri. Our focus is to raise awareness and public understanding of the many issues impacting individuals and families living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addiction disorders.
