We invite you and your staff to join us for a FREE, one-day training to learn about the requirements of the Subminimum Wage Program under Section 14(c) of the FLSA. We have developed this interactive training to engage you in conversation about your needs and to provide you with specific information on how to maintain compliance with your Section 14(c) certificate that authorizes the payment of subminimum wages to workers with disabilities.

Do you need a review of the basics of Section 14(c)?

Do you have questions about the prevailing wage survey process?

Does your staff need assistance with calculating hourly commensurate wages?

Bring these and other questions to the session because we can help!

Main topics of discussion will include:

  • Certification process

  • Time Studies

  • Record keeping requirements

  • Prevailing Wage Surveys

We are excited to be able to demonstrate for you our online calculators that you can use in determining the commensurate wage rate for employees. These calculators address a variety of required calculations such as determining the prevailing wage, calculation of hourly wages or piece rates and changes in the minimum wage rate.

During a special session, you will also have the opportunity to share with DOL and your colleagues the best practices that you have developed and also share any concerns or compliance challenges you face.

Also presenting WIOA requirements will be special guest, Mark Kinnison, Vocational Rehabilitation Administrator for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services.
