Technology Addiction: What It Is and What To Do About It
Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 7 PM - 8:30 PM EDT

Are your kids "addicted" to their cell phones? Nadja Streiter, LCSW can help you with information on what you can do about it.

About this Event

Cell phones, social media, e-mail, and gaming have become part of the social fabric and kids spend hours in front of screens. Kids with learning disabilities or attention issues may be even more susceptible to technological distractions. Ms. Streiter will discuss problematic use of technology, its addictive characteristics, and tips for how to tackle digital demands and distractions.

Nadja Streiter, LCSW is a psychotherapist and clinical social worker with expertise in managing problematic technology use and addiction to smartphones, gaming, and social media.

Prior to the presentation, join us for an Open House by Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities. Learn about our programs, events, and resources for parents of children with learning disabilities and attention issues.
