Rally For Recovery 5K Run and Remembrance
Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 8 AM - 11 AM EDT

September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.

This year’s theme is Invest  In Health, Home, Purpose and Community.

As part of this National Public Awareness Campaign, RCADD will partner with the Kyle Goldberg Memorial Foundation to hold a 5K Run/Walk for Recovery & Remembrance on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Rockland Lake State Park beginning at 8:00AM.  Following the race awards ceremony there will be a Remembrance Ceremony to remember those who we have lost to addiction.

RCADD has participated in this Campaign for 11 years and is thrilled to partner again this year with The Kyle Goldberg Memorial Foundation.  The Foundation was created after the tragic death of Kyle in July, 2004.  Like many young adults, Kyle suffered from substance use disorder.  The Foundation's mission is to help other young adults who struggle with this disease.

The event will help educate and support people affected by substance abuse disorders, educate the public about addiction as a treatable disease, and celebrate the lives of those who have gained and sustained recovery.  Please support us as we Run/Walk for Recovery for Rockland County Community residents who have lost loved ones, persons in recovery, friends, family members, and allies of Recovery.
