The Ottawa County Drug-Free Collaborative will recognize International Overdose Awareness Day on August 30, 2019. The collaborative acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of a drug overdose. Help us spread the word to “Reduce substance abuse to protect the health, safety, and quality of life for all, especially children.”
Collaborative members and public officials will unveil the “2018 Silent Silhouettes” on the lawn of the Ottawa County Courthouse* on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 1:00 p.m and recognize “Overdose Awareness Day.” Open to the public, this day will include a proclamation by the Ottawa County Commissioners and provide an opportunity for the community to remember those we’ve lost while making a commitment to those in recovery.
