Heart of Wilmington (HOW) invites you to join us for a gathering in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day Saturday August 31st from 11:00 am til 2:00 pm.

While the event will be free admission, we will be accepting donations to help HOW continue to make a difference in the community as we work to "Get the H out of Wilmington" through recovery assistance, education, events and community organization.

Community leaders will speak on behalf of their respective organizations and the City of Wilmington as the community effort joins in unity to achieve the same goal. Also involved are local organizations already established in the region who have opened their doors to combine their efforts with Heart of Wilmington's mission of recovery and a community in unity. Because of all of us working together is why this event is coming to be. All of us hope to see you there!!!

Hungry? Bills Front Porch Food Truck will be at the event! Try some of the BEST fried chicken in town.
